RacingIt's Micro Machines! The land of fast moving toys that are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Race your little veichles through several different tracks that range from a bathtub to even a pool table! Survive and continue, but if you don't, you'll be the laughing stock of your friends.
Plot: This has the simplest plot in the video game universe: you have 3 opponents and you must beat at least one of them. In other words, get 3rd or better and continue. If you can't accomplish this feat, you won't continue. I've played through 20-30 levels of this game and haven't seen the ending, but I assume there is one. When you get up to the levels I'm currently playing, it is crucial not to make any mistakes. This is exactly like RC Pro Am. One mistake and everyone passes you up and it is impossible to catch them.
Sound: Same as graphics. The lack of music in the actual race isn't the greatest thing in the planet while they probably should have done so.
Graphics: They are pretty basic. Nothing fantastic, but at least they don't annoy the hell out of you.
Challenge: The only challenge that lies in the inital stages is learning the tracks and the abovementioned of knowing which direction to go. The later tracks test your knowledge of this fact and then the racing gets more competitive where the competitiors start being real pissed off at your glory. Only your skill and pure luck will get you through the last part of this game.
Gameplay: Good game! It's easy to control your machine and the toughest part is to know what path to take in certain tracks. Best thing to do is follow the leader the first lap and just speed on along for the 1st place finish at the end.
......BOTTOM LINE: It's just probably me. I really like this game too much. It's just playing with micro machines in "real life"! If you are looking to settle a bet with your friend, try playing this game. I'm sure you'll be the king of the party once you show off your elite skills. Maybe John Moscheitta Jr should have advertised this game and used his 750 words/min to get everyone to buy it!
