I've following David Wong's stuff from day one, and he's the definition of hit and miss with his material.  But I loved this one.

I think this sentence sums it up better than the gif he says sums it up:

"The audience at the conference reacted in exactly the same way you react when you notice the homeless guy next to you on the subway is masturbating."

That was fucking brilliant.

He also makes a good point about how demanding consumers in the gaming market are getting these days, game makers keep making newer and more expensive technology, so they keep putting more and more demands on themselves to get as large a market as possible just to break even, and consumers are still expecting more, when at this point, it's just getting unrealistic.  It's going to be interesting to see just how this blows up in everyone's faces.  Like with a homeless guy masturbating on the subway, also blowing up in your face.

And Indie games are rapidly regaining popularity.  Could it be that multi-million dollar corporations are *gasp* OUT OF TOUCH?!

Tetris is like addiction.  Everything keeps piling up and piling up, and any little error results in an empty space you desperately need to fill.  But as long as you can get that next line, everything'll be okay.

Brilliant. Now what happens when Nintendo gives up? On second thought, let's not go there.

Nah.
I've always wondered if that's why I've never really liked Sony...

I started disliking them especially when they purposefully killed the launch of the dreamcast by releasing their first ad campaign/preview for the PS2 on the same day at the last minute.

A+ on their cameras though, they bought up minolta mounts and since I'm already invested, I am happy I like their cameras
Granted they always tend to be a little bit pricier, they end up being worth it in the end.  My mom's Cybershot is an amazing point and shoot.  It's more than what someone would need to take photos while around town and what not.

Speaking of cameras, you know about Leica cameras, Pm?  Some say they're the bees knees.

Totally agreed.  They're a great electronics manufacturer in general.  I have a Sony amp I love.  Their TVs are the shizzy, too.  Still, I prefer a good Canon to a Sony.

This is true; film and digital.
